Hermès silk twill carré 90cm by 90cm "Les Amours" designed by Hugo Grygkar, very rare and only issued in 1947, one of the first by the very prolific artist at Hermès. It was actress Michèle Morgan's favorite Hermès scarf (last photo source), who owned several. This is a unique piece with Hugo Grygkar's typical design through which one can read bits of romantic poetry... The scenes with the little cherubs adorning the carré's border are divine.
This scarf is in fair condition: it is discolored. However, it is a collector's item that retains all its historical richness.
Sold with an Hermès carré box and its bolduc.
