90x90cm "Les Tourterelles" twill silk scarf designed by Xavier de Poret in 1956. He specialized in animal drawings and collaborated with Hermès on several occasions; the precision and grace of his lines made him one of the artists whose scarves are most sought after. On this design, in the same spirit as "Les Biches", he arranged several sketches of turtle doves within a dark gray frame on a white background. This scarf was reissued once in 2001, but it is the rare 1st edition that I am presenting to you.
This scarf is in good condition: no holes or pulled threads, but several micro-stains detailed in the last photos. The condition is consistent with the age of the scarf.
