Splendid classic 90 x 90 cm silk twill square titled "L'Hiver" (Winter). Designed by Philippe Ledoux and first issued in 1969, presented here in a red colorway.

Ledoux evokes the winter pleasures of the French countryside: galloping riders, villagers in the snow... In a narrative and meticulous style. The cartouche "L'Hiver" inscribed at the top of the composition anchors the square in a classic and timeless illustrative tradition.

The condition of this scarf is very good: plump rolled edges, with a slight pulled thread to note on the last 2 photos. Very well preserved for a first edition. Composition tag present.

Sold with a Hermès square box and bolduc.
