Magnificent twill silk scarf measuring a classic 90 x 90 cm, entitled "L'Hiver" (Winter). Designed by Philippe Ledoux and first issued in 1969, then in 1995, it is the 1995 re-issue presented here in white, in keeping with the scarf's theme.
Ledoux evokes the winter pleasures of the French countryside: galloping horsemen, villagers in the snow... in a narrative and meticulous style. The cartouche "L'Hiver" inscribed at the top of the composition anchors the square in a classic and timeless illustrative tradition.
This scarf is in excellent condition: immaculate white, plump rolled edges, no stains.
