A very beautiful silk twill scarf, classic dimension 90 x 90 cm, "Faune et Flore du Texas", published in 1987. Designed by the self-taught Texan artist Kermit Oliver, the only American artist to have collaborated with Hermès on a regular basis. Presented here in a blue color, true to his highly precise naturalistic style, Oliver displays the fauna and flora of Texas within a composition teeming with local vegetation and animals. Kermit Oliver's scarves are more than just fashion accessories; they are true works of art in their own right.
The condition of this scarf is very good: it has been worn and the label has an unravelled seam, two small pulled threads in the last photo, but it remains very beautiful.
Sold with an Hermès scarf box and its bolduc.
