Classic 90 x 90 cm twill silk square titled "Hermès Électrique," designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko. This square is part of the collaborations between Rybaltchenko and Hermès; the Russian artist is one of the house's most prolific designers, whose squares are highly sought after, including "Perles du Kenya" and "Space Shopping au Faubourg".
On this square, the letters of the house "Hermès" shine in lights, like on a Broadway musical poster. A dazzling piece, particularly with these orange and white colors. (The photos slightly tint the white blue, but it is indeed pure white.)
This scarf is new: Never worn, no flaws. Composition tag present.
Text from the official Hermès booklet: "Hermès, in the spotlight, plays, diverts, blurs the lines. As in a festive city, as under a circus big top, as on a Broadway musical poster, its name vibrates in letters of light! In this composition by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, the letters overlap like acrobats, the atmosphere is electric, energetic, dynamic: ladies and gentlemen, attention, in a moment, the show begins! Electricity changed the world: from lightning, its most spectacular natural expression, to the incandescent lamp, which transfigured the city, it transforms the image of the house in this square."
