Hermès silk twill scarf, gavroche size 42cm by 42cm, illustrated by Virginie Jamin, a long-time collaborator of the house. Della Cavalleria is a treatise on horsemanship written by the German Georg Engelhard von Loehneyss, printed in 1609 in Bavaria and preserved in the Émile Hermès collection. Virginie Jamin takes some pieces of harness as models to create this gavroche with a deep navy blue background, a tribute to the saddlery heritage of the house.
This scarf is in new condition: Plump rolled edges, no flaws, crisp silk. Composition tag present.
