Every scarf is carefully inspected, guaranteeing absolute authenticity
Hermès "Comédie Française" silk twill scarf, designed by Philippe Ledoux and issued only in 1969. In Ledoux's very particular style, recognizable at first glance and similar to "Les Trois Mousquetaires", the motif features key scenes from Molière's universe through small vignettes. Each of these scenes is drawn with an astonishing level of detail, to the point that each could itself constitute an entire scarf. In the center, a crowned portrait of Molière presides over his creations, on a scarf with a brown border, white background and yellow and gold ornaments. A collector's item never reissued, with very strong historical value.
This scarf is in very good condition: very good overall condition, micro-stains detailed in the last photo, very well preserved for a scarf from this era.
