Rare 90x90cm twill silk scarf by Robert Dallet "Les Girafes" issued posthumously in 2006. Dallet depicts a dreamlike version of a giraffe family, two adults and a baby giraffe in an instantly recognizable and highly sought-after Hermès orange colorway. The artist's characteristic naturalism is intact: every anatomical detail is rendered with accuracy, from the texture of the coat to the animal's proportions. This is one of the most beautiful Dallet scarves, particularly in this colorway.
This scarf is in very good condition: some imperfections detailed in the last 3 photos: micro-stains and some slightly darkened folds due to storage.
